The Jomolhari trekking tour is a marvelous adventure in the making for enthusiastic trekkers. It is of 7 to 12 days in length. The Himalayan Mountains holds great significance in the history of Bhutan for the sovereignty of the country. It was the main reason why the invaders of the north were held back. Today it serves as a spectacular site for trekking. The trekking commences from a small village in Paro called Gunitsawa and will conclude in Dodena Thimphu. The tour would challenge the trekkers through Yelila Pass at 4820m but the Trekkers will be rewarded with stunning view of the landscape and a wide range of exotic flora and fauna along the way.
The thrill of the wilderness.
